What QuantCoreX is — and is not
QuantCoreX is algorithmic trading research software: strategy validation tooling, research analytics, and execution telemetry. QuantCoreX is not a broker, investment adviser, investment fund, managed account provider, signal service, or copy-trading service. Nothing on this site or inside the product is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument.
Trading leveraged products is high-risk
Contracts for difference (CFDs), foreign exchange, index derivatives and cryptocurrency instruments are leveraged products. Losses can exceed expectations and can accumulate quickly. The majority of retail accounts that trade leveraged products lose money. You should never trade with capital you cannot afford to lose.
Backtests and simulations are not future performance
- All published metrics are research artifacts: backtests, out-of-sample splits, and historical simulations. They are not live trading results unless explicitly labeled as live or demo telemetry.
- Our own methodology assumes live results will run 20–40% below backtest because of multiple-testing bias, slippage, spreads and regime change.
- Several published systems carry small sample sizes (N < 20). We label these as low-confidence — they are anecdotes, not evidence.
- Our 5-year portfolio simulation spends more than 92% of days below a prior equity peak. Extended drawdowns and flat periods are the normal experience of systematic trading, not an anomaly.
Software risk
Automated systems can fail: platform outages, broker rejections, requotes, connectivity loss, session-break behaviour, and software defects can all cause results that differ from research. We document known execution defects and fixes publicly, but no monitoring layer eliminates these risks.
