Refund & Subscription Policy

How QuantCoreX subscriptions are billed, renewed, cancelled, and refunded — and how these terms interact with your statutory rights as a UK consumer.

Template for review by qualified legal counsel. Not legal advice. Last updated: 2026 (placeholder — set on solicitor sign-off.)

This policy explains the billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms that apply to paid subscriptions to QuantCoreX. QuantCoreX is educational, pre-trade decision-support software. It is not a broker, investment adviser, financial adviser, signal provider, or fund, and it does not execute orders, hold client money, or manage assets on your behalf. Nothing in this policy, and nothing provided through the QuantCoreX platform, is a promise or forecast of any trading result, profit, or return.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where a conflict exists between this policy and those documents, the Terms of Service govern unless the conflicting provision concerns your statutory consumer rights, which always prevail.

Subscription billing

Paid access to QuantCoreX is offered on a subscription basis and is sold and delivered through our website only. We do not currently sell subscriptions through mobile app stores or any third-party reseller, and any purchase made outside our website is not recognised as a QuantCoreX subscription.

All subscription payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. QuantCoreX does not collect, store, or process your full card number or other sensitive payment credentials on its own systems; those details are handled by Stripe under its own terms and security standards. By purchasing a subscription you also agree to the applicable Stripe terms that govern the processing of your payment.

  • Prices are displayed at the point of purchase in the currency shown at checkout and, where applicable, are stated inclusive or exclusive of tax as indicated at that time.
  • The subscription term, billing frequency, and price for your plan are the ones presented to you and confirmed at checkout.
  • We may change subscription prices from time to time. Any price change applies only to future billing periods and will not take effect until we have given you reasonable notice in advance of the change.
  • You are responsible for keeping your billing details accurate and up to date so that renewals can be processed correctly.

Renewals

Unless your plan is expressly sold as a one-off, non-recurring term, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period so that your access continues without interruption. Each renewal is charged to your saved payment method through Stripe at the then-current price for your plan, at the start of the new billing period.

  • Auto-renewal continues for successive billing periods of the same length as your original term until you cancel.
  • You may cancel auto-renewal at any time before the next renewal date. A cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, so it prevents the next charge rather than stopping the current one.
  • Where required by law, we will send you a reminder or confirmation relating to an upcoming or completed renewal. Any such reminders are a courtesy and do not change the renewal terms you agreed to at checkout.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend or downgrade your access until payment succeeds. Continued failure to pay may result in your subscription being cancelled.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us using the details published on our website. Cancelling stops future automatic renewals.

When you cancel, your paid access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and it then lapses. We do not automatically provide a pro-rated refund of the current period simply because you have cancelled before the period ends; instead, you keep the access you have paid for through to the end of that period. This paragraph does not limit any refund you may be entitled to under the sections below or under your statutory rights.

  • A cancellation request is effective when we receive it, and it applies to the next renewal that has not yet been charged.
  • After your access lapses, some account data may be retained or deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
  • You may re-subscribe at any time at the then-current price and terms.

Refunds are never conditional on trading outcomes

Whether or not you receive a refund is never linked to, and never depends on, the performance of any trade, strategy, market, or account. Because QuantCoreX is educational decision-support software and not a broker, adviser, or signal provider, we make no representation that using the platform will produce any particular result, and we do not offer, condition, calculate, or deny refunds by reference to profits, losses, drawdowns, or any measure of trading performance.

  • We do not offer “profit guarantees,” “money-back if you don't profit” promises, or performance-based refunds of any kind, and any statement to the contrary is not authorised.
  • A losing trade, an unprofitable period, or dissatisfaction with market results is not, by itself, a basis for a refund under this policy, although it does not remove any statutory right you may have.
  • Refund eligibility is assessed only against the criteria in this policy and your statutory consumer rights, never against how your trading turned out.

Refund requests reviewed case-by-case

Outside of the statutory cancellation rights described below, refunds are discretionary and are reviewed individually on their facts. Submitting a refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be granted, and granting one refund does not create an obligation to grant any other.

To request a refund, contact us using the details published on our website and include your account email, the approximate purchase date, and a short description of the reason for your request. We aim to acknowledge and review requests within a reasonable time and will explain the outcome.

  • When reviewing a request we may consider factors such as how much of the billing period has elapsed, the extent to which the service has been accessed or used, whether a technical fault prevented access, whether a billing error occurred, and any applicable legal requirement.
  • Where a refund is approved, it is normally issued to the original payment method through Stripe, and the time for the funds to appear depends on Stripe and your card issuer or bank.
  • Approved refunds may be full or partial depending on the circumstances, and any related access may be adjusted or ended accordingly.
  • We may decline requests that are outside this policy, that relate solely to trading outcomes, or that we reasonably consider to be abusive, fraudulent, or repeated attempts to obtain free use of the service.

UK consumer rights

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have statutory rights that apply in addition to this policy and that cannot be reduced or excluded by it. Nothing in this policy affects those rights. The following describes, in outline only, how a statutory cooling-off period is expected to apply; the specific wording is a placeholder pending review by qualified legal counsel.

  • 14-day cooling-off period (placeholder for solicitor review). For purchases made at a distance, UK consumers generally have a right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract and to receive a refund, subject to the rules that apply to digital content and services.
  • Because QuantCoreX is supplied as digital content or a digital service, you may be asked to acknowledge that supply will begin during the cooling-off period. Where you request that access begins immediately, your right to cancel may end once the service has been fully performed, or a deduction may be made to reflect the service already supplied, in accordance with applicable law.
  • Where a statutory refund is due, it will be provided using the same payment method used for the original purchase, within the period required by law, unless you agree otherwise.
  • Your statutory rights in relation to services carried out with reasonable care and skill, and to digital content that is of satisfactory quality, are unaffected by this policy.

The scope of the cooling-off period, the treatment of immediate access to digital content and services, and the exact refund mechanics must be confirmed by qualified legal counsel before this policy is finalised. Until then, the provisions in this section are indicative placeholders and do not limit your statutory rights.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes apply from the date the updated policy is published, and material changes affecting future billing or renewals will be communicated to active subscribers where required. The version in force at the time of your purchase or renewal governs that transaction.
