Risk Disclosure

Important information about the risks of trading financial instruments and the nature of the QuantCoreX platform.

Trading foreign exchange, CFDs, cryptoassets, and other financial instruments on margin carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all users. Leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to trade, you should carefully consider your objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. You may sustain a loss of some or all of your initial capital and should not risk money that you cannot afford to lose.

QuantCoreX is an educational and data analysis platform. No information provided by QuantCoreX, including AI-assisted outputs, market scanners, position sizing tools, risk calculators, backtested strategies, or contextual market analysis, should be construed as investment advice, a personal recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any financial instrument.

QuantCoreX is not registered as a broker, dealer, investment advisor, or financial advisor with the FCA or any other regulatory authority. Users are solely responsible for their own trading decisions and must conduct their own independent research.

Leveraged product risk

Many of the instruments that users may analyse or trade elsewhere — including foreign exchange, contracts for difference (CFDs), cryptoassets, futures, and other margined products — are leveraged. This means the amount required to open and maintain a position is only a fraction of its full notional value. While leverage can magnify gains, it magnifies losses to the same degree, and losses can exceed the amount initially deposited with a broker unless that broker provides negative balance protection.

Cryptoassets are highly volatile and largely unregulated in many jurisdictions. Their value can fall as well as rise, and you may not get back the amount you invested. CFDs and similar products are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. You should ensure you understand the following before trading any leveraged product:

  • How margin requirements, margin calls, and forced liquidation work at your chosen broker.
  • How overnight financing, swap charges, spreads, and commissions affect the cost and profitability of a position.
  • That price gaps, slippage, and periods of low liquidity can result in execution at prices materially different from those displayed.
  • That past volatility is not a reliable indicator of future volatility, and adverse market moves can occur without warning.

QuantCoreX does not offer, arrange, or execute trades and does not hold client money. Any decision to open a leveraged position, and the choice of broker or counterparty through which it is executed, rests entirely with the user.

Backtest vs live performance

QuantCoreX may display backtested, simulated, or hypothetical performance for strategies, signals, or analytical models. Simulated results have inherent limitations and should not be relied upon as an indication of future results. Live performance may differ materially from backtested performance for many reasons, including but not limited to the following:

  • Backtests are prepared with the benefit of hindsight and may reflect assumptions that could not have been known in advance.
  • Simulated results do not fully account for real-world execution costs, spreads, slippage, commissions, financing charges, or the impact of order size on price.
  • Historical data may contain errors, gaps, or survivorship bias, and the market conditions of the test period may not recur.
  • A strategy that performed well in the past may cease to perform, or may incur losses, when market regimes, liquidity, or volatility change.
  • Optimising parameters against historical data can produce results that are overfitted and fail to generalise to live conditions.

No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. Backtested and hypothetical outputs are provided for educational and illustrative purposes only and are not a promise, projection, or guarantee of future outcomes.

Software & data risk

QuantCoreX is software that processes market data and produces analytical outputs. Like all software, it may contain errors, and the data it relies upon is sourced from third parties that QuantCoreX does not control. Users should be aware of the following limitations:

  • Market data, prices, indicators, and calculations may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or interrupted, and should be independently verified before any trading decision.
  • AI-assisted outputs are generated by automated systems, may be incorrect or incomplete, and do not represent a human judgment, recommendation, or assurance of accuracy.
  • Position sizing tools, risk calculators, and scanners are informational utilities; their outputs depend on the inputs and assumptions supplied and may not reflect your actual broker terms or account conditions.
  • The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, outages, connectivity issues, or events beyond QuantCoreX's control, and no guarantee of continuous availability is made.
  • Third-party data feeds and services integrated with the platform are subject to their own terms, limitations, and potential failures.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuantCoreX does not warrant that the software or its outputs are error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular trading purpose. Users must not rely on the platform as their sole source of information.
